SWIMMING POOL
SCHOOL
The Politécnico da Guarda Swimming Pool, inside the Campus, aims to promote health education and good physical condition. It is not intended for students and teachers only: it is open to the entire surrounding community, which makes it a space for sharing, exchanges and leisure.
CLASSES AND MORE!
Under management of the School of Education, Communication and Sports, students use the swimming pool during the day, within the scope of the Polytechnic’s learning offer.
From 5:15 pm to 9:00 pm, the doors are open to the whole community: the Swimming School is born.
There are classes for those who can’t swim, for those who don’t drown and for those who want to be the next Michael Phelps.
There are also water aerobics classes, which get everyone moving!
WHAT IS NEEDED?
Swimsuit. Of course.
Flip flops. Because a slip is not a good idea.
Swimsuit Because hair floating in the pool is not desirable.
Read, complete and deliver the Individual User Form provided by the Services.
HOW MUCH?
Prices may vary: if you are a student, you have a big discount. If you sign up for swimming and water aerobics classes, you accumulate discounts. Better check price table.

20% discount when enrolled in two or more modalities.
5% discount for households with three or more registered members. The discount is made on the third element.
Passwords (adults only) must be used for two months after purchase.
Note: To these values must be added the Annual Enrollment/Renewal (€6.00) + Annual Insurance (€7.50)
Free Schedule:
Properly identified sports students (student card) pay only €0.50.
Because the free schedule is constantly changing, it is not possible for us to present an exact schedule each week. So we ask for your understanding and if you want more information, you can contact us via email.
