Politécnico da Guarda is an open space, designed to enrich not only the students’ experience but also the daily life of the city and region by providing the enjoyment of its facilities, such as the swimming pool, the sports pavilion or the library.
A POTENTIAL AT THE SERVICE OF THE REGION
LIBRARY
The IPG General Library is a space to support academic activities and the community at large, providing the bibliographic resources, as well as the use of its spaces.
BLUE PAVILION
The multi-sports «Blue Pavilion» of Politécnico da Guarda is equipped for the practice of multiple indoor sports.
The Pavilion is open to students, teachers and employees of the Politécnico da Guarda, but can also be used by others as long as there is availability.
POOL & SWIMMING SCHOOL
Politécnico da Guarda Swimming Pool, located inside the Campus, is a space dedicated to leisure and learning, to promote health education and good physical condition. For this it has, available to everyone in the Polytechnic community, the city and the region, a swimming school that fits those goals, both technically and pedagogically, with the help of specialized professionals.
