My name is Paulo, I come from Oliveira de Azeméis, which is a city in the region of Aveiro. My course is Accounting. I came to the city of Guarda, because it is a city that attracts me, because it has a good academic life. My expectations are to finish the course in three years and have good nights!

I’m Gonçalo Pedro. I come from Barcelos. I enrolled in Multimedia Communication and chose the Politécnico da Guarda because it was the only course in the country that aroused my interest.

Hi, I’m Violeta and I come from Valencia. I am studying Industrial Design at Politecnica de Valencia and I’m in fourth grade. I chose Guarda because they recommended the city to study, because we are going to work a lot and the city is small and it’s good to be here.
As for expectations: to meet many people, many Portuguese and learn to speak Portuguese.

Politécnico da Guarda is an open place, designed to enrich not only the students’ experience but also the daily life of the city and the region by providing the enjoyment of its facilities such as the swimming pool, the sports pavilion or the library.
The Politécnico da Guarda Swimming Pool, located inside the Campus, is a space dedicated to leisure
and learning, promoting health education and good physical condition.
The IPG General Library is a space to support academic activities and the community at large, providing bibliographic resources, as well as the use of its spaces.
The Multisport “Blue Pavilion” of Politécnico da Guarda is properly equipped for the practice of various indoor sports.
A Escola (The School) is a restaurant where the knowledge of the School of Tourism and Hospitality is applied. Providing the atmosphere of a «conventional» Restaurant, all services are provided by students under the supervision of teachers. All so that you will always want to go back to The School.
