This Master’s Degree consolidates learnings in the specific domains of mobile computing, providing the skills required to conceive, design and implement solutions in the areas of mobile services, mobile networks and mobile devices, considering their multidisciplinary aspects.

Specialized training in Civil Engineering, deepening the knowledge in core scientific areas of Civil Engineering, allowing the exercise of the profession of Civil Engineer, allowing the integration of graduates in liberal and business activity, in the framework of companies in the field, projects, consulting and construction and in the technical departments of municipalities and the Central Administration.
You care for people and to heal them?
The School of Health at Politécnico da Guarda, in association with the School of Health at Bragança, offers the master’s degree in Applied Health Sciences. This includes clinical and professional specialization in two fundamental and priority areas in health: community intervention and biotechnology.
Nurses specializing in Child Health Nursing and Paediatrics can develop their activity in all healthcare facilities, especially in pediatric services, neonatology/neonatal care units, neonatal and paediatric intensive care units, Health Centers, specialized clinics, child support institutions.
The Master’s Degree in Community Nursing aims to develop knowledge of clinical practice, disease prevention, health advancement; integration of the family in the healthcare team, promotion of innovation, and ethics.

The Master’s in Integrated Management Systems (Environment, Quality, Safety, Social Responsibility) trains Senior Management in Social Responsibility Systems (NP4469-1, SA8000, ISO 26000), Quality (ISO 9000), Environment (ISO 14000) and Safety (OHSAS 18000), providing the knowledge and skills–both technical and scientific–necessary for the exercise of professional activity in these áreas.

The Master’s in Management is aimed at Graduates who wish to deepen their professional knowledge related to the areas of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Logistics, Accounting and Public Administration.

The Master’s Degree in Marketing and Communication aims to provide advanced training in scientific domains related to Marketing and Communication, as well as to open doors for scientific research in this area.

My name is Paluxo and I came from Guinea-Bissau. I just enrolled in the Master of Health Applied Science. I chose this master’s because I have already done a technical course in health inspection and sanitation in Guinea and I need more knowledge in the area. I hope it is good because it’s a new reality. Between there in Guinea and here, the education systems are very different. I want to learn everything that will be taught here.

My name is Rafael. I come from Pataias, in the municipality of Alcobaça. I have now entered Management and Accounting. I chose the Politécnico da Guarda because I already knew people who studied here and had good references. I was also told good things about the city: it is a quiet city and I’ve been here for three years; this will be the fourth. Expectations have always been best: I was always welcomed, by teachers, students, by the people of the city and I hope it stays the same.
